Peninsula Screen Shop is absolutely the best!! I called to ask how long it would take to custom make a wooden screen door I saw on Pinterest and Pedro said a week, which was exactly what I wanted to hear. Everywhere else told me 2 months. Pedro came by the next day and took measurements. It actually took a couple of days longer because of all the rain, and the custom paint I wanted, but so well worth it. I love my new screen door. It is exactly what I wanted. I also had them install another regular screen door on the side of my house that leads out of our laundry room. Their pricing was also lower than the other places I called, so it was a win-win for me. I can't say enough great things about them.

I highly recommend. I called up the shop on a hot Saturday during the long weekend to ask how late they were open. They were closing in 20 minutes, but offered to stay until I was able to get over there. They did and very politely stayed and did my repair on the spot. And for a very reasonable charge. Then when he saw I was having trouble fitting the screen into my car, offered to drop it off at my house on his way home. I really couldn't imagine better service from someone who by all rights would be anxious to get home and enjoying his long weekend.

Thank you Peninsula Screen Shop! We recently rescued a German Shepherd who has some abandonment issues, as we found out when we came home from a few hours out to find the dog we had left in the yard was in the house and at the front door eagerly awaiting our arrival. Wait...what?! In the house? How....? It didn't take too much hunting of doors to find out he had hurled himself through the back screen door, leaving about half of it intact and the rest of it swaying in the breeze, inviting birds and bugs to come on in and join us. Ugh. I called Peninsula Screen on Monday afternoon and they came out early Wednesday morning to get the door. I was told they would have the door back to me on Monday and when he saw my crestfallen face (I cannot sleep without fresh air) he changed the return to date to either the next day or Friday at the latest. It's Friday afternoon as I write this and we now have a sturdier screen door made with "pet screen" that will hopefully keep our acrobatic dog out in the back yard and not sailing through yet another door. Prices were reasonable and the employees are friendly and efficient. We've got two screen doors left to "pet screen" and Peninsula will be our go-to place for them. Awesome company.

I have needed to replace my sliding screen door's screen for a couple of years now... it was at least 15 years old, and had huge holes because of my dogs (scratching at it) and children (shoving their hands through where the door handle is). I was driving home when I saw Peninsula Screen's van, and after seeing their reviews here, I called them on a Friday morning. Imagine my surprise/pleasure when they came over 20 minutes later, and took the door with a promise to return with it Monday night. He suggested pet screen, as I asked for the most durable screen available. And on Monday night, he brought it back, beautifully installed. Such a great business with a responsive owner... I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone, and plan on using them again should the need arise!

Had a fantastic experience with Peninsula Screen Shop and would recommend them highly for screen replacement. Called them up last Thursday and was seen the same day and given a fair estimate for the three screens I needed replaced. We scheduled for today - Julio and his assistant called ahead before arriving (as they said they would) and the installation took less than 10 minutes. Everyone I spoke to was professional, courteous and friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again!

I made the appointment with Lourdes and her husband, Julio ( they own the business), came out the next day.  He was so pleasant & efficient and measured my screens and they gave me a verbal and a written estimate a few days later.  I agreed and he said it would take about a week. I said that we had just moved into the house ( no a/c) and asked if he could give us a few screens (bedrooms) in a few days.  He said he would try and the next day I found him at my house checking to see if one of the screens he made was correct ( it was). OMG, he brought ALL my screens the next day, put them in and didn't even give me a bill and told me that his wife would contact me. They fit perfectly.  Meantime, we couldn't open one of the windows so he told me that he would NOT charge me for that screen, he would keep it for one month, and if we fixed the window, he would install it.  In addition, I asked him if he knew a reliable, reasonable gardener and he did and he came out the NEXT DAY!  If there was a  10 star rating, I would give this business that rating.

They were really great. They made arrangements to give me an estimate on short notice, then made the screens within days. Other places were almost twice as much, so I was super happy that the quality was good, service fast, reliable and helpful.

I accidentally tore a window screen at my rental when trying to remove some ivy that was crawling through it and along the frame. I called around and got some ridiculously high prices just to replace one 26 x 47 inch screen, so I was very pleasantly surprised to find Peninsula Screen Shop. Julio was very nice on the phone and when I went to the shop. He even cleaned all the ivy off the frame, so the newly screened frame looked like new. This is the reason why I like about family business!! It is operated by husband and wife. I just bought a place and had to replace all my door and window screens. Called them up and set up and appointment for Julio to come out to do an estimate. He is very prompt. He came right on time and for the price, it was unbelievable reasonable and affordable. Screens was made within a reasonable time period and was installed professionally. I replaced all of my screens/frames with Peninsula Screen shop and they did a great job overall.  A couple of the frames were off due to the complexity of how many different windows I had done, but they replaced them without any hassle.  They are reasonably priced and did quick work.  Overall, a very pleasant experience.
